An isolation test is a handy way to determine the cause of an issue.
To perform an isolation test simply remove the SIM card from your handset and insert it into another handset. If the issue persists on the second handset then your SIM card is at fault, but if your issue has been resolved by swapping the SIM to another handset then it is likely that your original handset is to blame for the issue.
