If you're close to running out of your monthly included data, you can opt to purchase a data pack by logging into our website and pressing the "Buy" button under the "Data pack" heading.
This data pack adds an additional 3GB of data to your monthly allowance at the cost of $18. This won't be charged immediately and will be added to your following bill.
Currently, each Moose service is limited to 5 data packs of 3GB. After using up all data packs, you can keep using excess data if needed.
The excess data rate with Moose Mobile is $9 per GB and charged in KB increments, so if you go over your data by 100 MB, you will pay 88 cents for excess. We allow our customers to go over their data by approximately 8GB before their data is barred (switched off). If your service is barred, simply call customer service on (07) 3193 9400 to organise a payment for the currently used excess. Once this amount has been paid, you can keep using more excess data if necessary.
If using excess data is going to be a recurring issue for you, you may want to take advantage of an upgrade to a plan with a higher data allocation. There is no cost to downgrade or upgrade your plan with Moose (except with 12-month terms, where you can only upgrade). Please let us know what plan you would like to upgrade/downgrade to, and we'll make the change. After that, it's just a matter of waiting for your next billing cycle for the change to take effect.
