You’ll know your number has been successfully ported to Moose Mobile when your old service stops working. At that point, you should:
- Remove your old SIM card from the device.
- Insert your new Moose Mobile SIM card.
- If the service doesn’t activate immediately, power cycle your phone by turning it off and on again.
Why You Should Keep Your Old SIM Inserted Until Transfer Completes
Keeping your old provider’s SIM card in your phone allows you to monitor when the transfer occurs. Once the old SIM loses service, it’s a clear sign that the porting process has completed and your Moose Mobile SIM is ready to use.
