How to Turn Off Mobile Data
If you'd like to disable mobile data on your phone, there are a few options available:
1. Turn Off Data on Your Device
- The simplest method is to switch off mobile data directly in your phone’s settings.
- This will stop your device from using mobile data from your SIM card, while still allowing you to make calls and send texts.
2. Disable Data via Moose Customer Portal
- If you're the account holder and want to restrict data usage for a specific service (e.g. for a child or employee), you can:
- Log in to the Moose customer portal on our website or
- Use the Moose Mobile app
- Use the “Data On/Off” switch to disable mobile data at the network level.
Note:
- The Data On/Off switch only disables mobile data within Australia.
- It does not affect data usage while roaming overseas.
To Disable Roaming Data
- Please call or email Moose Mobile Customer Service to have roaming disabled on your service.
Important Reminder
- Disabling data at the network level means you cannot re-enable it using mobile data.
- To switch it back on, you’ll need to use a WiFi connection or contact us directly.
